One class, skill by skill
Press Print the lesson plan. Give each row one skill, the drill or game that practices it and the equipment to have on the deck. The Minutes column is there so the rows add up to the length of the class.

Questions and answers
Is this a swim lesson plan template for any level?
Yes. Group is a blank line on the class sheets, and Level a blank line on the session plan. No blank form prints a level name, a badge or an order of skills. The forms take whatever your pool or program teaches.
Is there a sample swimming lesson plan?
Yes. The sample fills the opening sheet for a made-up 30 minute beginner class: bubbles, front float, back float, kicking, a glide and a game. Its minutes are a guess.
Is there a swimming lesson plan template for stations?
Yes. Pool stations has four numbered rows with Lane or area, Skill, Drill and Helper columns, and a Rotate every line at the top. For two classes back to back, another sheet prints a short plan for each.
Does the page teach swimming or water safety?
No. These are planning forms. Water safety, supervision, depth and the age for any skill come from your pool's rules and your own training.
