How it works
This daycare lesson plan template puts a whole center on one sideways page, so the infant room and the school-age group can share a theme without sharing a plan.

A daycare weekly lesson plan template, by age group
Press Print the lesson plan. Write the theme on the top line, then a few words in each box: what the infants hear, what the toddlers say, what the preschoolers make. Three groups, not four? A second week drops the school-age row and adds a Books and songs column.
A childcare lesson plan template for one room
A center that plans room by room can print the week for one room, with five rows from Morning group time to Late afternoon. The day sheet fits four rooms on one upright page, and the two-week plan gives each age group a wide box a week.
- Plan the year first: Childcare center themes for 12 months has a row a month for the theme, books, songs and a special day.
- The week at a glance for families is a note to send home or post by the door.
- The sample fills the week for a made-up theme, things that go: songs and books for the youngest, an activity a day for the rest.
Questions and answers
Is this a childcare weekly lesson plan template too?
Yes. Child care and day care are two names for the same thing. Four of the blank sheets plan a week from Monday to Friday.
Is there a school age lesson plan template for daycare?
Yes. School-age daycare week is for children who come before and after the school day: Monday to Friday across, and rows named Before school, After-school arrival, Homework time, Club or project, and Outdoors or gym.
Is there a blank lesson plan template for daycare?
Yes. Every sheet but the sample is blank, and no sheet prints an age beside a group's name. On the day sheet even the room names are yours to write.
Is there a daycare lesson plan template PDF?
Yes. Print the sheet you want and pick Save as PDF where the printer is chosen. The file holds that one sheet, on Letter or A4.
Does any sheet track meals, naps or diapers?
No. These forms plan activities and nothing else. Meals, naps and diapers belong on your center's daily record forms.
