How it works
This summer camp lesson plan template is for whoever plans the week: a theme at the top, then what the group does in each block of each day. The week prints sideways.

A camp week on one page
Press Print the lesson plan. Write the theme on the first line, then one activity in each box. An afternoon project can run all week, a step a day, the way the mural does in the sample.
One day, a rainy day, a whole summer
Start with Camp themes for the summer, 8 weeks to a page, then print a week sheet for each theme. The day plan turns one day upright and gives each block a time, materials and a leader. Keep a rainy day plan ready: it pairs each outdoor block with an indoor swap.
- Running mornings only? The half-day week has three tall rows: Opener, Main activity, and Game and goodbye.
- The supply list has a box to check on each row once that day's supplies are packed.
- Field day or special event plan has blocks for the stations, who runs each one, supplies and the order of the day.
Questions and answers
Is this a camp lesson plan template for any kind of camp?
Yes. The rows name parts of a day, not activities, so a day camp, an art week, a sports week or a science week all fit. Only the drama week is written for one kind of camp.
Are there drama camp lesson plan templates?
Yes, one. Drama camp week has Monday to Friday across and five rows: Warm-up game, Voice and movement, Scene work, Sets, props and costumes, and Run-through. A line below takes the day and time of the showing for families.
Is there a sample summer camp lesson plan?
Yes. The sample is a made-up week on bugs and gardens for ages 7 to 9: a bug hunt, bean seeds, a bug hotel, an outdoor game each day and a mural that goes from sketch to wall by Friday.
