Questions and answers

Can I use it as a 25 minute tomato timer?

Yes. The opening round is 25 minutes of work and a 5 minute break, a common study habit. Full set with a long break runs four 25 minute work periods in one countdown, with 5 minute breaks between and 15 minutes off after the fourth.

Is this a focus timer or a concentration timer with the breaks built in?

Yes. Every ready-made routine is one countdown with the work and the break inside it, so nothing is reset between them. The shortest is 8 minutes and the longest is 2 hours 10 minutes.

Does this timer for studying work for a whole class at school?

Yes. Press Full screen and the disc fills the board. Study hall in two halves runs a 45 minute period with a 5 minute break in the middle and 5 minutes to pack up.

Does it keep time while I work in another tab?

Yes. The time left comes from the device clock, and the tab's title shows it. Browsers slow hidden tabs, so the title or a cue can show late, but the time is right when you look.

Can I set a ten minute or one hour study timer?

Yes. Tap the time and type 10 or 60. For the hour, the routine Long round: 50 and 10 shows Break: 10 minutes after 50 minutes of work.
