Sound

On a phone or a tablet the silent switch mutes this sound as well, and the page cannot tell. Press Test sound to check.

Music

It plays while the timer runs and stops at the end.

Repeat starts the countdown again by itself, for stations.

Keys: Space starts and pauses, R resets, F is full screen. They rest while a button or a field has the focus.

Copies a link that opens this timer at this length.

How it works

An online timer for 15 minutes, set and stopped until you press Start with music. Fifteen minutes is 900 seconds, and for the last 2 minutes the disc changes color inside a dashed ring.

A 15 min timer that repeats for rounds

Repeat, under More options, is off when the page opens. With it on, the next 15:00 starts at 0:00, counted from the end of the last round, so 3 rounds fill 45 minutes and 4 fill an hour. + 1 min under the disc lengthens only the round you are in.

A 15 minute radial timer is not a clock face

On a wall clock, 15 minutes is a quarter of the face. On this visual timer the whole disc is the 15 minutes, so a third of it is 5 minutes. PE skill stations moves groups on at each third.

Questions and answers

What time will it be in 15 minutes?

Start the countdown and the line under the digits answers: Ends at, then the clock time 15 minutes from now on this device. Pause and the line clears, because the end moves. Resume brings it back with the new time.

Can it work as a 15 minute alarm?

Yes, once you pick the sound. Under More options, the list When the time is up has Soft chime, Hand bell and Wood block. With Repeat on, that sound marks every change of round.

Does the 15 minute timer with music have relaxing tracks?

Drift, the one it opens on, is slow chords with no tune and no words. Meadow is soft plucked notes, Lantern a music box, and Tidy-up bounces and gets faster. All four stop when the 15 minute countdown pauses or ends.

How do I run 15 minute centers for 45 minutes or an hour?

Choose Center rotation round under Ready-made routines and switch on Repeat before you start. A cue warns at 2:00, another says Tidy the center at 0:30, and the next round starts by itself. For a last round, press Pause, switch Repeat off and Resume.

Is this a 15 minute timer for kids to run themselves?

Yes. Choose Computer turn and switch on Repeat. At 2:00 the cue says Save your work now, at 0:30 Log out for the next person, and then the next turn begins. Nothing is typed into the timer.

How this list was compiled: Own work, written in September 2026 from common classroom practice. Each routine is one way to spend exactly 15 minutes (900 seconds) with a class, and each cue is given as the time left on the countdown when it appears. Every split was added up twice: 5 + 7 + 3 for Math teacher table and Observation drawing; 3 skills at 5 minutes for PE skill stations; 7 + 7 + 1 for Buddy reading; 10 + 5 for Library visit and Quiz corrections; 10 + 3 + 2 for Group presentation; 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 5 for Class debate; 5 talks at 3 minutes for Book talks; 5 sentences at 2 minutes plus 5 for Dictation sentences; 5 + 10 for Homework review; 3 + 9 + 3 for Music practice; 5 + 5 + 5 for End-of-day jobs. Rounds of 15 minutes add up to 45 minutes after 3 and 60 minutes after 4. The timings are suggestions, not rules or research findings. Change them to suit your class. Licence: own work
