  • 7 × 8 A times-table fact: the front is the question, the back the answer.

How it works

This flashcard maker turns your own list into cards. Type the front and the back of each card, such as 7 × 8 and 56, or paste a list. Study them on screen, then print double-sided cards.

Typing your cards

Type the front, press Enter, type the back and press Enter again: the card joins the list. Or paste a list: two columns from a spreadsheet, or lines with an equals sign, become front and back. A plain vocabulary list makes one-sided cards. Up to 200 cards, 80 characters a front.

Printing double-sided or fold-over

Print gives sheets of twelve 60 mm cards, fronts first and then the backs mirrored, so printing on both sides, flipped on the long edge, puts each answer behind its card. No two-sided printer? Print fold-over cards and fold each strip.

  • Keep a front to a few words: a card is only 60 mm across.
  • Missed a card on screen? It goes on a missed pile, and Missed shows only those until you get them right.

Questions and answers

Is this flashcard maker free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Your cards stay in this browser: they are never sent to us, and they are still here when you come back.

Can I print double-sided flashcards?

Yes. Print gives a sheet of fronts and then a sheet of backs, mirrored, so the answers land behind their cards when you print on both sides and flip on the long edge.

Can I paste my cards from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Copy two columns, fronts and backs, and paste them into the first field: each row becomes one card. A single column makes one-sided cards.

How many flashcards can I make?

Up to 200 cards at a time, with up to 80 characters on a front. For a bigger deck, split it into two lists and print each one.
