One row, one group
Press Print the lesson plan. Write the warm-up and the mini-lesson for the whole class at the top. In each row, name the students, the skill they need, what they do with you and what they do alone.
A math workshop model lesson plan template, and a rotation board
The workshop sheet has ruled lines for a number talk, the mini-lesson, work time, a share and an exit question. The rotation board shows which group is at the teacher table, a math game, a practice page or fact practice in each of four rotations.
- The grouping list has 24 rows for a student, a quick check score and a group.
- Guided math notes by student has 12 rows for what you saw and a next step.
Questions and answers
Is there a kindergarten guided math lesson plan template?
Yes. The kindergarten sheet has three short groups with a counting or number task and the tools on the table, and a line for a whole-group song, story or count. Kindergarten is our suggestion: no sheet prints a grade.
Does it work for 4th and 5th grade?
Yes. The sheet with problem sets has a Problem of the day line and columns for Problem set, Error to watch for and Challenge. Upper grades is our label, and Standard or skill is an empty line.
Is there a guided math lesson plan template PDF?
Yes. The print button opens the print window of your browser; set its destination to Save as PDF. One sheet is saved at a time.
Does the page make the groups or the problems?
No. It prints forms to plan on. The sample is a made-up week on fractions that names tasks and gives no answers.
