Questions and answers
What are guided notes?
A handout that maps out the lesson with key points or words left out. Students fill in what is missing as the lesson goes on, and end with a full set of notes to study from.
How do I make guided notes from this template?
Start from the full notes you want students to end with. Type them into the boxes, swapping each key word for a row of underscores, and put the lesson's name over the title. Print one copy for each student.
Can I change the headings?
On the opening page the bars read Key terms, Main ideas and Example and print as they are. For headings of your own, pick the two-column sheet and type over Key point and Notes, or write on the empty bars by hand.
Is there an answer key?
No. The page prints the student copy. For a key, print one more copy and write the missing words in by hand.
