Name the committees, then pass it around
Press Print the sign up sheet. Write a committee on the first line of each block, or leave the blocks for the meeting to name. People sign on a Member line; the Chair line can wait until the group has chosen.
Choices, chairs and subcommittees
When people should rank what they want, the template with first and second choices gives each person one line. Chairs for the year lists 12 committees with a Chair and a Co-chair. A committee that splits its work has a sheet of four subcommittees, each with a Lead.
- Four larger blocks add a Co-chair line and five Member lines.
- The slips print four to a page and ask for two choices and whether a person could chair.
Questions and answers
What should a committee sign up sheet include?
The group and the year at the top, then for each committee its name, a chair and lines for members with a way to reach them. The opening sheet prints six such blocks.
Is there a subcommittee sign up sheet?
Yes. The subcommittee sheet has Committee and Chair lines at the top and four blocks of five lines: Subcommittee, Lead and three Member lines.
Is there a safety committee sign up sheet?
Yes. It has 15 numbered lines with Name, Department or room, Shift, and Phone or email. The page prints the list only and says nothing about what a safety committee must do.
Are these printable committee sign up sheets or online forms?
They are paper. Every sheet prints on Letter or A4 and is filled in with a pen; the page has no form to type in and saves no names.
Are there sample committee sign up sheets to look at?
Yes. The filled-in sample shows two made-up committees, Garden and Welcome, each with a chair and members. For a parent group's named committees, see the PTO sign up sheet.
