Questions and answers

How do you play social skills bingo?

Each pupil has a different card of 24 skills. You read a situation, the class talks about what would help, and everyone who has that skill covers it. Five in a row wins.

What if more than one skill fits?

Let a pupil cover either one if they can say why it helps. Hear the other side and Say how you feel calmly can both fit an argument, and talking that through is the lesson.

What skills are on the cards?

Five groups of eight: greeting and joining in, taking turns and sharing, listening and conversation, working in a group, and settling a disagreement. The full list, with every situation, is under the tool.
