Questions and answers

How do you play parts of speech bingo?

Each pupil has a different card of 24 words. You read a word in a sentence; a pupil who has it writes its part of speech in the square. A line wins only if every label on it is right.

Why are words like run and light left out?

They change part of speech with the sentence: go for a run, run fast. Every word here has one part of speech in everyday use, so a pupil's label is either right or wrong.
