  • The easy Bone needs 2 crayons, purple and yellow. The detailed Haunted house, Trick-or-treat bag, Broomstick and Witch boot need 5.
  • New picture deals another of the eight at random. To choose one, open More options and tap it under Pictures.

Questions and answers

Is there an answer key?

Yes. Page 2 of the printout is the finished picture in color. To leave it out of a class set, open More options under the grid and untick Answer key on page 2. The worksheet itself is one page of Letter or A4.

Are the Halloween pictures scary?

No. They are a haunted house with lit windows, a wrapped candy, a treat bag, a lantern, a broomstick, a witch boot, a magic wand and a cartoon bone. Nothing is gory, and no picture shows a character from a film, show, book or game.

Can two tables get different sheets of one picture?

Yes. New problems keeps the picture and writes a new problem in every square, so the Lantern at one table is not the Lantern at the next. Print each version; each prints with its own key.

Is there Halloween math with nothing to color?

Yes, on another page. The Halloween math worksheets page prints spider and bat stories, with no grid and no key of colors.

How this list was compiled: Own original pixel pictures of Halloween things, drawn square by square for this page on 8 by 8 and 12 by 12 grids.
