Questions and answers
Which February holidays are in the word search?
February Holidays has 19 words. Groundhog and Punxsutawney cover the 2nd, Valentine and Cupid the 14th, and Washington and Lincoln the third Monday. Woodson and Douglass stand for Black History Month. Pancake, Carnival, Lantern and Dragon mark Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras and Chinese New Year.
Why does February have a leap day?
A year of 365 days runs almost a quarter day short, so about every fourth year gets a 29th of February. A year that ends a century, such as 1900, gets none unless it divides by 400: 2100 will not be a leap year.
What is the hardest substance in the human body?
Tooth enamel. Enamel is one of 20 words on Healthy Hearts and Teeth, made for National Children's Dental Health Month. The month grew from one day in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 3, 1941. Your heart, another clue says, is about the size of your fist.
