How it works
These cut and paste printables open on four pictures down the page, each beside an empty box, with the same four as tiles along the bottom. A child cuts along the dashed lines and pastes each tile beside its partner.

Preschool cut and paste printables: three sheets, no reading
Kind of sheet, under More options, changes the sheet. Picture to picture is the opening sheet, drawn from ten pictures: star, heart, apple, balloon, fish, leaf, moon, ball, drop and house. Shape to shape gives each shape a smaller partner to paste, some of them turned. Number to dots pairs numerals from 1 to 10 with tiles of that many dots.
How many tiles to cut
Pairs goes up from 4 through 5, 6 and 8, adding to the leaf, fish, moon and balloon of the opening sheet. The largest choice in the menu prints every pair the sheet has: ten pictures, nine shapes or the numbers 1 to 10.
- The pictures and shapes are plain black outlines, so these cut and glue printables can be colored in before cutting.
Questions and answers
What is on these cut and paste activity sheets?
A heading, one line of directions for the adult to read aloud, the pictures with their empty boxes, and a strip of tiles under a scissors mark and the words Cut along the dashed lines. Everything is on one page.
Do these cut and paste preschool worksheets have an answer key?
Yes. The key is a second page with every tile drawn in its box. It prints after the sheet unless you untick Add an answer key as the last page under More options, where See the answers also shows it on screen.
Can the same sheet be done with a pencil?
Yes. Set Answer by to Pencil only. The tiles go, and the partners print down the right side of the page, to be joined to the left side with a line.
Are there other cut and glue worksheets on this site?
Yes. Sorting worksheets paste shape tiles under headings. Pattern worksheets and missing letter worksheets print tiles too, once Answer by is set to Cut and paste.
