Word find puzzles for kindergarten by vowel sound or theme

Start from a list holds 16 lists. Five sort three-letter words by vowel: Short A (Cat, Map, Jam), Short E, Short I, Short O and Short U. Ten are themes, from Colors and Animals to Things That Go. Kindergarten Challenge has 61 words of 5 or 6 letters, which still fit the 8 by 8 grid.

What makes these easy word search puzzles for kindergarten?

Three rules. Words never run backwards or on a slant. No two words cross, so ringing Cat never covers a letter of Hen. The filler squares use only letters found in no hidden word, so every C, A and T belongs to a word.
