One fruit made of many flowers
A pineapple does not come from one flower. The plant makes up to 200 flowers, and their small fruits join into the pineapple you see. Its sections usually run in two sets of spirals, often 8 one way and 13 the other. The Whole pineapple draws them as orange marks in slanting rows, a crisscross on the detailed grid.
Four sheets keep some paper white
Pineapple with sunglasses, Half a pineapple and Pineapple plant leave the background white, and on Glass of pineapple juice the glass itself is white. The Pineapple plant has the fewest easy squares to color, 80.
- Yellow is in all 8 easy keys.
- The Pineapple slice needs three crayons: purple, brown and yellow.
Questions and answers
Does a pineapple grow on a tree?
No. It grows at the top of a low plant with long, tough leaves, as the Pineapple plant sheet shows: brown soil, green leaves and one yellow fruit above them.
Which crayons does the whole pineapple need?
Four, numbered 1 to 4: blue for the background, green for the crown, yellow for the fruit and orange for its marks. The detailed grid has six: light blue in place of blue, plus light green and brown.
Which pineapple sheets suit a summer or luau day?
Pineapple with sunglasses, Glass of pineapple juice, Palm leaf and Hibiscus flower are the four party sheets. The summer set adds a palm tree and a beach ball.
