The Teddy bear, crayon by crayon

The Teddy bear has 78 brown squares, 38 blue for the background, 18 orange for the muzzle, the belly and the ears, 6 red for the bow and 4 black for the eyes and nose. Five more sheets show wild bears; the Bear track and the Honey pot have no bear in them.

The polar bear is the paper

On the Polar bear face only 50 squares get a crayon: 38 purple for the night sky, 10 black and 2 yellow. The bear itself is the 94 squares left white, which makes it the quickest sheet here.

  • Brown is in seven of the eight easy keys; only the Polar bear face does without it.
  • The Teddy bear, the Bear cub and the Bear track color all 144 squares.

How this list was compiled: Our own pixel pictures, drawn square by square for this site on 12 by 12 and 24 by 24 grids in October 2026. Nothing is traced, scanned or copied from clip art, and no picture shows a brand, a logo or a character from a film, show, book or game. The teddy bear is our own drawing, not a toy maker's bear or a bear from a story. The facts that end five descriptions and the line about the teddy bear's name were checked against Wikipedia in October 2026. The color and square counts were counted from the finished grids.
