How it works
This mini graph paper prints small pieces of grid with a heavier outline to cut along: four to twelve on a page in 1/4 inch, 5 mm or 1 cm squares, plus strips and small first quadrant grids.

How big each piece is
Four on a page gives pieces of 13 by 19 quarter-inch squares, 3 1/4 by 4 3/4 inches. Six on a page gives 13 by 12 squares, and eight gives 13 by 8. The twelve small squares are 9 by 9, 2 1/4 inches a side.
Where a small grid helps
Glue one beside a word problem for its bar model or its graph. A strip 3 squares tall holds a growing pattern or a number line. The first quadrant grids have both axes drawn and no numbers.
- Cut along the heavier outlines with a paper trimmer, several sheets at a time, for a class set.
Questions and answers
What size are the squares on mini graph paper?
1/4 inch, 5 mm or 1 cm, the same as on a full sheet: only the piece is small. For smaller squares on a full page, the graph paper page has 1/8 inch, 2 mm and 1 mm grids.
How many pieces fit on a page?
Four, six, eight or twelve in 1/4 inch squares, four or six in 5 mm squares, four in 1 cm squares, eight strips, or six small grids with axes. Letter and A4 hold the same number.
Is there lined paper in small pieces too?
Yes. Half sheet lined paper puts two ruled half sheets, or quarter sheets, on one page with a dashed line to cut along.
