How it works
These health word puzzles are word scrambles of 30 health words: keeping clean, moving, eating well and visiting the doctor. They teach vocabulary only, not medical advice. The answer key prints on its own page.

Clean, strong and well
The easy list is daily habits: Soap, Bath, Teeth, Water. Medium, the opening sheet, holds Vitamin, Hygiene, Posture and Checkup. The hard list is the long words of a health unit: Nutrition, Handwashing, Stethoscope.
In a health lesson
Use the sheet to open a unit on hygiene or healthy eating, then ask pupils to sort the answers into habits, body parts and people who help. Each press of New scramble mixes the letters again.
- Handwashing is the longest word: split it into hand and washing when pupils stall.
Questions and answers
What grades are these health word puzzles for?
The easy list suits kindergarten and grade 1 with hints on. Medium suits grades 2 and 3, and the hard list of 8- to 11-letter words suits grade 4 and up.
Is this medical advice?
No. The hints are short word meanings for a spelling puzzle. Questions about a child's health belong with a doctor or school nurse.
Can a scramble spell two words?
No. Words such as Heart (earth), Sleep (peels) and Lungs (slung) were left out because their letters spell a second word.
Is there an answer key?
Yes. Print gives the scramble sheet, then the key on a separate page, so a nurse or teacher can mark sheets quickly.
Can we solve it on the board?
Yes. Play shows one scramble at a time as letter tiles. A pupil taps the letters in order or types the word, and Hint places the next letter.
