Two crayons to start, a full sky to finish
The easy Oak leaf is the shortest sheet: 74 squares in orange and brown. The easy Geese in a V is the longest, with a number in all 144 squares, 101 of them blue sky. Choose Detailed 24 by 24 under Size and the geese cross white paper above orange, red and yellow trees.
Three sheets from the apple orchard
The Apple tree, the Basket of apples and the Caramel apple all need red: 8, 22 and 44 squares on the easy grids. The detailed Caramel apple is the longest sheet in the set at 418 squares, 208 of them brown caramel.
- Brown is in 5 of the 8 easy keys and orange in 5, so those two crayons wear down first.
- The detailed Pinecone has 236 brown squares broken up by 68 orange scale tips.
- The easy Leaf pile uses red, orange and yellow in almost equal shares: 20, 23 and 21 squares.
Questions and answers
Is there a pumpkin or a turkey in this set?
No. This set has no holiday in it. A pumpkin and a scarecrow are in the Thanksgiving set, and a jack-o'-lantern is in the Halloween set.
Which fall picture needs the fewest crayons?
The easy Oak leaf, with 2: orange and brown. The easy Pinecone, Apple tree, Caramel apple and Scarf need 3 each, and the Leaf pile, Basket of apples and Geese in a V need 4.
Can I print a fall sheet with no color on it?
Yes. Under More options, uncheck Color swatches in the key and Answer key on page 2. The key then names each crayon in words beside its number, and no colored square prints.
