How it works
These SEL coloring pages are words, not pictures. One short statement, such as I can wait my turn, fills a landscape page in big outline letters. Print the sample, tap Next statement, or type a class rule of your own.

Print a statement
Press Print the sample page and I can wait my turn comes out on 1 landscape page, Letter or A4. Next statement steps through all 40, and Pick a statement holds the whole list. The font tiles change the letters. Look switches between outline, bubble and hollow.
Type your own words
Type in the text box and the sample is replaced. A statement can run to 40 characters on up to 4 lines, and Enter starts a new line where you want one. Short lines print in bigger letters, so I tell the truth leaves more room to color than a long sentence.
- Let each student pick the statement they want to work on this week, color it and keep it on the desk.
- A share link carries the words you typed, so keep student names out of anything you share.
- Each print is 1 statement. For a class set of different pages, print, tap Next statement and print again.
Questions and answers
What are SEL coloring pages?
Coloring sheets that carry a social and emotional learning message. Here each one is a classroom skill said in a child's words, such as I use kind words, in outline letters to fill in. These social emotional coloring pages hold words only, with no pictures.
Which skills do the 40 statements cover?
Five areas with 8 statements each, listed in this order: other people, friends, about me, my feelings and choices. For social skills coloring pages, start with I include others, I can ask to join a game or I can say sorry and mean it.
Can I use these SEL coloring sheets on a bulletin board?
Yes. Every statement prints on its own landscape page, so a row of colored pages makes a wall display. A small credit line with this site's name prints at the foot of each page.
Do the statements come from an SEL program?
No. All 40 are our own: plain first-person sentences about everyday classroom skills. They follow no program or curriculum, so change any wording to match the language your school already uses.
