  • The Alarm clock has 39 white squares of 64. Untick Problems in the white squares too and 25 facts remain.
  • The finished Domino shows 2 red pips and 4 blue pips. Ask for that sum before the crayons go away.

Questions and answers

Are there color by number addition worksheets for kindergarten?

Not below sums within 10, the smallest level. Common Core asks kindergartners for fluency within 5, and for sums within 10 only with objects or drawings. The kindergarten addition worksheets, listed under the tool, have sums to 5 with pictures to count.

Do these coloring addition worksheets come with an answer key?

Yes. Answer key on page 2, under More options, starts ticked, so Print this sheet gives the worksheet and then the finished picture in color. Untick the box and only page 1 prints.

Do the sheets include subtraction or missing addends?

Subtraction, yes: set Problems to Add and subtract, and within 10 grows to 90 problems with answers from 1 to 10. For subtraction alone, print the subtraction coloring sheets. Missing addends such as 3 + _ = 7 are not offered.

How many problems are on one sheet?

64 on the 8 by 8 size and 144 at 12 by 12, when the white squares carry problems too. These add and color worksheets can also leave the white squares blank: the 8 by 8 Domino then has 34 facts and the Chalkboard 58.
