70 × 1 to 70 × 10 10

  • 70 × 1 = 70 A week has 7 days, so 10 weeks is 70 days. Every answer in the 70 row is a 7 row answer with a 0 written after it.
  • 70 × 2 = 140 20 weeks of 7 days is 140 days.
  • 70 × 3 = 210 At 70 miles an hour, 3 hours of driving covers 210 miles.

  • 70 × 13 = 910
  • 70 × 14 = 980
  • 70 × 15 = 1050 Halve one number and double the other: 70 × 15 turns into 35 × 30, which is 1050.
  • 70 × 16 = 1120

How this list was compiled: Own work. Every product was worked out twice on 2026-09-19 (multiplication, then repeated addition), and the other places where each answer sits on a 70 by 70 chart were listed in the same check and checked against every note, as was every sum written in a note. Units and facts in the notes checked on 2026-09-19: a week is 7 days or 168 hours, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Week ; a common year has 365 days, which is 52 weeks and 1 day, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_year ; an hour has 60 minutes and a day has 24 hours, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hour ; 60 seconds in a minute, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minute ; the divisors of 70, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/70_%28number%29 . That 2520 is the smallest number divisible by every number from 1 to 10 was worked out (least common multiple), not taken from a page. For the page copy, which also covers the 80 size of the chart: a mile is 80 chains, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chain_%28unit%29 ; a mile is 1,760 yards or 5,280 feet, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile (checked 2026-09-19 for the 1-80 page that was merged into this one). How it works

This multiplication chart 1-70 opens on rows and columns 1 to 20. Arrows under the chart move one block at a time. The 70 row is the 7 row with a 0 added: 70 × 8 = 560.

4,900 squares and a six way tie

The 4,900 squares hold only 1,484 different answers. Six of them tie for the most squares, 14 each: 120, 180, 240, 360, 420 and 840. The last two get there because 6 × 70 and 12 × 70 add one more pair. Just 41 answers appear once, and 2,485 facts are left when turnarounds count once.

Size 80: a multiplication chart 1-80

Under Chart size, 1 to 80 redraws the grid with 6,400 squares and 1,939 answers. Now 240, 360 and 720 lead with 16 squares each. A mile is 80 chains of 22 yards, so 80 × 22 = 1760 is the yards in a mile.

  • Work the 70 row from the 7 row. 7 × 12 = 84, so 70 × 12 = 840, the minutes in 14 hours.
  • At size 80, double a number three times and write a 0: 15 goes 30, 60, 120, so 80 × 15 = 1200.
  • For any fact, such as 70 × 61, type both numbers under Find a fact and press Go.
