Gown, diploma, mortarboard
The easy list is short: Gown, Award, Photo, Speech, Sash. Medium, the opening sheet, holds Diploma, College, Applause and Yearbook. The hard list has the words heard only on the day: Commencement, Mortarboard, Procession, Valedictorian.
Kindergarten to college
The words fit any ceremony, so the sheet works at a fifth-grade promotion and at a college party. New scramble jumbles Diploma and the rest again, so each table gets its own sheet.
- Add the school's name and the graduate's name in the last line of the sheet to make it a keepsake.
- Valedictorian has the most beats of any word here: clap out its six before pupils try it.
Questions and answers
Which ceremony words are in the lists?
Thirty in three lists: Easy has Degree, Finish, Clap and Toss; Medium has Future, Success, Graduate and Farewell; Hard has Handshake, Congratulations, Scholarship and Cap and gown.
Is there a key for the host?
The key prints on its own page after the guests' sheet. To print the puzzle alone, untick Print the answer key under More options.
What is a mortarboard?
The flat, square cap worn with the gown. A tassel hangs from the middle of its top.
Can I add the graduate's name and school?
Yes. Type them over the words on the sheet, or in its last line. Names stay in this browser. A share link carries the list, so keep names out of links.
