How it works
For a summer color by number addition sheet, each square holds a sum and its answer names a crayon. The Lifeguard tower opens with 64 simple sums, none over 10: a red hut on brown stilts over yellow sand.

Simple addition first, then more
The page opens on sums within 10. In More options, Quick settings steps up to Add within 20, mixes in subtraction with Add and subtract within 10, or switches to Subtract within 20 for a summer subtraction color by number sheet.
Beach, lake and evening
Eight pictures in three sets: a lifeguard tower, a cooler, a sunscreen bottle and swim fins; a fishing bobber and a canoe; a barbecue grill and a jar of fireflies. Tap one under Pictures in More options, or press New picture for another at random.
- The Swim fins and the Barbecue grill take 2 crayons on the easy grid; the Lifeguard tower and the Cooler take 4.
- Only 45 different sums fit within 10, so a sheet of 64 squares uses some of them twice.

How many sums stay if the white squares are left empty?
On the easy Lifeguard tower, 44 of 64. Uncheck Problems in the white squares too in More options and the white squares print blank. Left checked, their answers go with the last line of the key, leave white.
