How it works
A blank spelling test template needs no word list: pick the number of words and the line height, print, and read your own words aloud. Every sheet has a name and date line and numbered lines.

Pick the sheet by the list
The spelling test template 10 words long has 3/4 inch lines for large first grade letters. A 20-word list fits wide rule, or two columns of 10. The bonus sheets add a heavier rule above the last lines, so extra words stand apart from the score.
Tests that ask for more
10 words, each in a sentence splits every line at one third: the word on the left, a sentence on the right. 10 words with a box to tick leaves a box before each number for marking. The half-page sheets print two tests on one page.
- Numbered columns keep counting: on 20 words in two columns of 10, the right column starts at 11.
- Print at 100% scale, not Fit to page, so the lines keep their size.
