What the headings mean
Registro de lectura means reading log. Fecha is the date, Título del libro the book title, Minutos the minutes read and Iniciales de los padres the parents' initials. Páginas leídas is pages read and Firma de los padres a parent's signature. The list under the tool gives the English for every heading, sheet by sheet.
English and Spanish together
On the bilingual sheets each heading prints both languages, as in Date / Fecha. Pick one when part of the class reads at home in English and part in Spanish, so the same sheet goes home to everyone.
- The opening sheet has the same four columns as our English reading log, so both can go home on the same day.
- The week sheet prints the days in Spanish, from Lunes to Domingo.
Questions and answers
How do you say reading log in Spanish?
Registro de lectura. Registro is a record or log, and lectura is reading. The heading is printed at the top of five of the eight Spanish sheets.
Is there a bilingual reading log in English and Spanish?
Yes. The bilingual sheets print both languages in every heading: a 20 row log, a week from Monday / Lunes to Sunday / Domingo, and a log with pages read and a parent's signature.
Do the Spanish sheets print accent marks?
Yes. Título, Páginas leídas, Día, Miércoles and Sábado carry their accents, spelled as two dictionaries give them.
Is there a summer reading log in Spanish?
Yes. Lectura de verano has ten rows, Semana 1 to Semana 10, and a goal line: Este verano voy a leer __ libros, which means this summer I will read __ books.
