More about these tools
The youngest open on a small grid of short words, across and down. By 5th grade the grid is 15 by 15, with 18 words in all eight directions.
Each page has themed lists from the year's subjects, plus an easier list of shorter words and a Challenge list of longer ones. Every word has a meaning written for pupils. The grade is our suggestion, and the lists are not matched to any one state's standards. For this week's own list, use the word search maker.
