How it works
Every guest gets the same grid and the host keeps the answer key: that is the whole game. This baby shower word search printable draws from 24 starter words, such as Rattle, Lullaby and Stork. Seven themed lists sit under Start from a list.

Run it as a shower game
Print every copy from one puzzle. Press Print or save as PDF. In the print window, set Pages to 1 and Copies to your guest count. Then print page 2, the answer key, once for the host. Start a phone timer and give the prize to whoever circles the most words. For a baby shower word search pdf to email, choose Save as PDF.
What is in the lists
Nursery and Gear, Feeding Time, Clothes and Diapers, Bath and Bedtime, Toys and Storytime, Baby Firsts and At the Shower hold one theme each. All 139 words are generic, no brand names. The teddy is named after President Theodore Roosevelt, lullaby joins lull and bye, and pram is short for perambulator.
- For a brother or sister, Baby Firsts and Toys and Storytime make a baby word search printable without party words.
- Tick Show clues, not words for a harder round: guests work out Layette or Bassinet from its meaning first.
Questions and answers
Is this baby word search free printable for any number of guests?
Yes. Every list and every puzzle is free, there is no account to make, and you can print as many copies as you have guests. The puzzle prints straight from this page with its answer key.
Can I add the baby's name or the parents' names?
Yes. Type names at the end of the word list under the grid, or paste them split by commas or new lines, and they join the puzzle.
How do I pick a fair winner?
Give everyone the same puzzle and the same time. When the timer stops, count circled words against the answer key. To break a tie, hand the tied guests a Long and Tricky puzzle on Hard, where words run in every direction, backwards too.
