Four real cacti told apart by shape
The Saguaro has arms, the Prickly pear grows in flat pads, the Barrel cactus flowers only at its very top and the Organ pipe cactus sends several stems up from one short trunk.
Green in seven keys, and one sheet without it
Green is in 7 of the 8 easy keys. The Cactus at sunset is the exception: a black saguaro in front of red, orange and yellow, with all 144 squares colored. The Three cactus pots is the quickest sheet at 80 squares.
- Yellow is in all 8 easy keys: a sun, a flower or a whole background.
- The easy Prickly pear has only 3 red squares and 5 black ones: its fruits and its spines.
Questions and answers
Does every cactus sheet print with an answer key?
Yes. The colored answer key prints on page 2 when the page opens, so each sheet comes with its finished picture. Uncheck Answer key on page 2 in More options to print the sheet alone.
Which cactus sheet has the most squares to color?
Five easy sheets fill all 144 squares: Saguaro, Prickly pear, Barrel cactus, Cactus at sunset and Cactus flower. On the detailed 24 by 24 grid four of them fill all 576; the Saguaro leaves 18 white, most of them a cloud.
What do the blank squares around the potted cactus mean?
They stay white. On the Potted cactus in flower, the Three cactus pots and the Organ pipe cactus the background has no number and prints empty. Check Put 0 in the white squares in More options to print a 0 in each.
