How it works
This angle relationships worksheet asks two things of each figure: how the marked angles are related, then x. It opens with 8 figures on one page. Press Print or PDF for the sheet and its answer key, or New sheet for others.

Five relationships, two blanks each
Each problem has two blanks, They are ____ and x = ____, so the name comes before the arithmetic. The five kinds are dealt in turn, so the opening 8 hold each at least once: a complementary, supplementary and vertical angles worksheet with adjacent angles and angles around a point mixed in.
Grade 7 and grade 8 settings
Under On the sheet, Parallel lines adds two arrowed lines and a transversal; the key names corresponding, alternate or same-side interior angles. At Numbers the page is an angle geometry worksheet with no algebra. For a 7th grade angle relationships worksheet set Missing angles are to One expression: a linear pair becomes (2x + 36) + 104 = 180, and the key prints the 76° angle.
- Have the class fill in every They are blank first. It breaks the habit of subtracting from 180 whatever the figure shows.
- Only 8 fit one page; 12 or 16 take 2. Each figure scores 2 points, name and x, so the Score line reads / 16.
- Every complementary and supplementary pair here shares a side. For an angle pairs worksheet with two separate angles, use the complementary and supplementary angles page.
Questions and answers
What is on an angle pair relationships worksheet?
Five kinds: vertical angles (equal), a linear pair (180°), complementary angles (90°), adjacent angles (the parts make the whole) and angles around a point (360°). The key gives one name each; also accept adjacent for a complementary or linear pair, which share a side.
Is there an angle relationships worksheet PDF?
There is no download button. Press Print or PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print window, and the sheet and key become one file, fitted to US Letter or A4. The same 6 character code prints at the foot of both.
Does it fit grade 7 or grade 8 geometry?
In part. Common Core 7.G.5 has students write and solve simple equations for an unknown angle in a multi-step problem; One expression sets the single-step kind only. 8.G.5 includes facts about angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal: light Parallel lines.
Is there an adjacent angles worksheet here?
Adjacent angles make 1 or 2 of the opening 8 figures. Each prints the whole and one part, as in 84 − 39 = 45. No setting prints them alone.
