Print and cut
Press Print small charts and print at 100% scale. The charts stand 1/4 inch apart. Cut along the middle of the gap.
Reading a chart with no heading row
The first row and the first column are 1 to 12, so they do the work of headings. Find 7 in the first column and 8 in the first row: the square where that row and column meet is 56.
Pick a size
Four charts fit a page for 1 to 10, each 3 1/2 inches square, and for 1 to 9. Two larger 1 to 10 charts fit a page as well.
Questions and answers
How big is each small multiplication chart?
The 1 to 12 chart is 4.8 inches square, with squares of 2/5 inch. The four-to-a-page 1 to 10 chart is 3 1/2 inches square. Letter and A4 print the same size.
How many small multiplication charts fit on one page?
Two for 1 to 12, two or four for 1 to 10, and four for 1 to 9, on Letter or A4.
Is there a blank small multiplication chart?
Yes: two blank 12 by 12 grids to a page, the size of the 1 to 12 charts. Four blank 10 by 10 grids are on the mini hundreds chart page, and one large blank chart with headings on the blank multiplication chart page.
