A kindergartner cannot write a title yet, and a middle schooler does not need a parent's initials every night. Each page here opens on a log for one age: ticks and stars to color in kindergarten, a tick for Easy, Just right or Hard in 1st grade, minutes to add up in 2nd, the author and pages in 3rd, page numbers to subtract in 4th, and a response box in middle school.
