Call the English, or the French
In Call the game each word shows with its meaning under it: la grenouille, frog; quatorze, 14. Say the English and pupils hunt for the French. Or say the French and they match sound to spelling, which is harder than it looks with seize and treize on one card. To check a win, the pupil reads each covered word aloud.
One list for each unit
Each list is one unit of 17 to 24 words, and a card takes 16, so cards differ in what they hold, not only in where. For a mixed review game, All 112 words fills a 5 × 5 grid.
Nouns carry le, la or les, so the gender is learned with the word. After l', the list below gives the gender.
Colors are in the masculine form: vert, blanc, gris. Beside a feminine noun they become verte, blanche, grise.
French writes days and months without a capital letter: lundi, janvier.
Questions and answers

Le bingo. The Larousse dictionary describes it as a game of chance of American origin, inspired by le loto, the game in which players cover the numbered squares on their cards with tokens drawn from a bag.
How do you play French bingo in class?

Can I make French bingo cards with my own words?
Yes. Paste your unit's vocabulary onto the page and the cards are dealt from it. Pasted words have no English line, so call them from your own list.
