This ABC chart printable PDF opens finished: 26 letter pairs, Aa to Zz, on one page in Comic Neue, with the round a children write. Press Print 1 page, then print on Letter or A4 or choose Save as PDF.

Print the ABC letter chart as it opens

The page opens as an uppercase and lowercase alphabet chart: 4 pairs across in 7 rows, with Yy and Zz alone on the last. The sheet holds letters only, with no boxes and no drawings, and it prints as shown.

Capitals only, small letters only, or a chart to color

The Letters menu turns the page into a capital letters chart or a sheet of small letters, and also holds number charts, 0 to 9 and 1 to 20. Look swaps the solid letters for Hollow, a thin line to color inside. The font tiles switch between the 8 fonts, and More options has 4 inks: Black, Red, Pen blue and Purple. Letters typed in the box replace the alphabet, one to a square.

For a preschool alphabet chart, set Letters to Capital letters: alone on the page, each capital stands about 0.8 inches tall, up from 0.6.
Oswald's narrow letters print tallest, about 0.7 inches a capital. Poppins prints smallest, about 0.5 inches.

Questions and answers

Is there an alphabet chart PDF?

Yes, made by your own print window: press Print 1 page and choose Save as PDF. The one-page file keeps the font, look and ink you chose. Once you change a setting, Share link copies an address that opens your version of the chart.

Which font suits an alphabet chart kindergarten children copy from?

Comic Neue, the opening font. Ii and Ll share the third row, and its barred capital I and straight small l keep them apart. Patrick Hand looks handwritten. STIX Two Text, Baloo 2 and Oswald show the hooded a of reading books.

Can I print the vowels in red on the alphabet letter chart?

Not on the full chart: the tool inks a whole sheet one color, not single letters. Type AEIOU in the box and choose Red under More options. Five red capitals, about 2 inches tall, print on their own page to pin beside the chart.

Can I make the letters bigger?

On the printed alphabet chart a capital is about 0.6 inches tall, a desk or folder size. After any change, open Parts of the alphabet under the chart: the ABCDEFGHIJKLM and NOPQRSTUVWXYZ chips each print 1 page, capitals nearly twice as tall.
