Read the full guide

Eight sets of twelve words

Set picks the words: Thinking, Describing, Action, Nature, Story, Community, Feeling or Science words. Each set prints whole, and All of them mixes twelve from the full list.

A sentence for every word

Under the tool each word is listed with its meaning and a sentence that uses it. Brief: lasting only a short time. We took a brief rest and walked on. Read a few aloud before the sheet goes out.

The teacher's own list

Type pairs in the box, one per line, as word = meaning. They replace the sample, so this week's reading words can go on the same sheet.

  • Answer by has Cut and paste, which prints fewer words, with their meanings as tiles to cut out.
  • The sheet opens at Text size Small so that twelve meanings fit one page. At Medium it holds fewer pairs.
